 Municipality of Anchorage, AK (2006)
This project provided the municipality of Anchorage with digital color orthophotography that will be used for planning purposes. KAPPA was responsible for flight planning, AT, DTM integration, orthorectification and mosaicking, color balancing, image tile layout and delivery. Color high-altitude (18,000’ above ground) imagery was used to minimize cost to the client. The delivered project meets specifications of several municipal departments in terms of planning, E911, and public works. Size of project: 1.2 million acres.
City of Lebanon, OR (2006)
Working in conjunction with prime contractor Spencer B. Gross, KAPPA Mapping, Inc. was responsible for providing, planimetric and topographic mapping, CAD editing, and translation. Mapping was done at a scale of 1”=50’ with 1’ contours. Products delivered to the City of Lebanon are for GIS and engineering purposes. Size of Project: 350 acres .
Town of Clifton, ME (2006)
KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided the Town of Clifton with updated parcel mapping data and GIS. To minimize the cost to the town, KAPPA scanned and vectorized un-attributed, existing tax maps, then georeferenced the scans, and digitized the parcels into ArcView format.
Town of Camden, ME (2006)
 KAPPA Mapping, Inc. was responsible for heads-up digitizing of building updates for the Town of Camden.
City of Rockland, ME (2005, 2006, ongoing)
KAPPA Mapping, Inc., teaming with Dirigo Spatial Systems, Inc., provided updates of the City of Rockland’s GIS in both 2005 and 2006.
Town of Hanover, NH (2005)
KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided flight planning, aerotriangulation using airborne GPS, planimetric and topographic mapping, CAD editing and translation, and B&W digital orthophotography. Mapping was done at a scale of 1”=400’ with 5’ contour intervals. The purpose of this project was a DTM Watershed regional analysis.
 MOA Updates, Anchorage, AK (2005)
KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided engineering grade base mapping with color orthophotography. Data collected in the project was used for the Municipality’s GIS.
Girdwood, AK (2004-05)
KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided photogrammetric mapping services of 1”=100’ scale mapping with 2’ contour interval in Girdwood. KAPPA also generated color orthophotographs. The purpose of the project was for watershed analysis. Size of Project: 1,800+ acres
Town of Bar Harbor, ME (2004-05) - Parcel Mapping
KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided photogrammetric mapping services for the Town of Bar Harbor, coordinating activities for this planimetric, topographic and parcel mapping project. KAPPA designed flight plans and determined flying height, coordinated surveying activities, reviewed aerotriangulation results, and provided QA/QC review for planimetric & topographic stereo compilation, digital orthophotographs and parcel mapping. Size of project: 30,000+ acres
