Thomaston, ME (2006)

KAPPA Mapping, Inc. was responsible for flight planning, aerotriangulation, stereo compilation, and CAD editing and translation.  Engineering grade planimetric and topographic mapping (1”=50’, 1’ contours) was done for planning for commercial development. Size of Project:  60 acres.

Ogunquit, ME (2006)           

KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided engineering-grade planimetric and topographic mapping (1”=50’, 1’ contour interval) for this project concerning a proposed widening of a section of Route One in Ogunquit.  KAPPA also generated black & white orthophotographs.  The delivered data met the criteria of Maine DOT standards. Size of Project:  275+ acres.

Gendron Park II, Lewiston, ME (2006)

Using control and AT results from a 2005 project in Lewiston, KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided engineering grade compilation, editing and translation for the client for development purposes.  Detailed planimetric and topographic mapping was done on a scale of  1’’=40’ and 1’ contours. Size of Project : 175 acres.                          

Gouldsboro, ME (2006)

KAPPA Mapping, Inc. was responsible for aerotriangulation measurement and stereo compilation of planimetric and topographic features (1”=50’, 1’ contour interval) from aerial photography. KAPPA also performed DTM collection for contours, and generated color orthophotographs. These mapping services provided an accurate base map suitable for engineering design. Size of Project: 260+ acres.

MOA Updates, Anchorage, AK (2005)

KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided engineering grade base mapping with color orthophotography. Data collected in the project was used for the Municipality’s GIS.

Bass Park, Bangor, ME (2005)

KAPPA Mapping, Inc. provided planimetric and topographic mapping (1”=50’, 1’ contour interval) from aerial photographs using photogrammetry.  KAPPA worked closely with the surveying firm to provide an accurate base map suitable for engineering design.  KAPPA also performed DTM collection for contouring, and generated black & white orthophotographs.  Included in this project was the Bangor Historic Race Track.  Size of Project:  175+ acres
