KAPPA Mapping Inc. is headquartered in downtown Bangor, Maine, in the historic Eastern Trust bank building, directly bordering the Kenduskeag Stream which runs through the heart of the downtown.

In order to facilitate the digital map production processes, the company maintains a wide range of hardware and software production equipment, including:

Stereoplotters: DSR 14, Qasco PG2, PUG3, SoftPlotter, KDSP

Computer Workstations: A collection of state-of-the-art systems specifically configured for softcopy vector collection and orthophoto production, including high-capacity hard drives, 3D-displays, and fast processors.

Software: KDMS (vector collection and translation), SoftPlotter (softcopy photogrammetry), KDSP (digital stereoplotter), AutoCAD, MicroStation, ARC/View, Aerotriangulation software (ABC, Albany, ISSBA)
