ASPRS Certified
Photogrammetrist

Claire Kiedrowski, president of KAPPA Mapping, Inc., and Bruce Berry, production manager, are both ASPRS certified photogrammetrists. An ASPRS certified photogrammetrist is one whom "after careful, just appraisal by their peers, and after passing a written examination are considered to have met the requirements established by the Society for certification." Requirements for certification include:
- Six years of experience in photogrammetry, three years of which were in a position of professional responsibility demonstrating professional knowledge and competence.
- References from four persons who are holding, or who have held, responsible positions in photogrammetry and have first-hand knowledge of the applicant’s professional and personal qualifications.
- Declaration of compliance with the Code of Ethics of the ASPRS.
- Successful completion of a written examination.

ACSM also encourages the development of educational programs and supports publications that represent the professional and technical interests of surveying and mapping.
